Crestview homes are some of my personal favorites of the Austin communities for their excellent blossoming location while still being affordable. The homes in the area that have been updated on an existing older platform are eclectic and charming. Lots of flavor in the Crestview area, while having tremendous access to Lamar Blvd, 183, I35, 2222/W. Koenig Ln., and Mopac. Those are all the major arteries! This added with the wealth of shopping and dining makes Crestview a very desirable community for many buyers.

Northcross Mall is only minutes from Crestview and located on West Anderson Lane. The mall is a blossoming area for retail with stores and restaurants sprouting up left and right. The shopping center has recently been revamped and several old buildings were demolished and rebuilt in new positions. Popular restaurants in the Crestview and Northcross Mall area include Korea House, Houston's, Elevation Burger, and Cover 3. Retail stores in the area include Conn's, Lowe's, Alamo Drafthouse, Guitar Center, and School of Rock Music. A new Wal-Mart is also on it's way. You can even get some ice skating done at Chaparral Ice.

Crestview is bordered within the square of Justin Lane to the south, Anderson Lane to the north, Burnet Road to the west, and N. Lamar Blvd. to the east. Crestview neighborhood has many community events that instantly integrate and develop a friendly atmosphere and close-knit feeling among residents in the neighborhood. Crestview real estate mostly consists of older homes being built in the 1950s and the sizes range from 700 sqft to 2,500 sqft. Most are well-maintained which adds to their old-school charm and appeal.

Crestview has become a hot spot for updating, modernizing, and making homes more environmentally friendly. Most of the homes on the higher end of the price spectrum have been upgraded to include such items such as energy efficient windows, HVAC systems, lighting, and appliances. Adding this to the parks and the small-town community feel, make Crestview homes for sale a desirable search in Austin.
