Emory Farms is a more recently constructed community in Hutto right off of 79 near 130 toll road. Emory Farms is right in the middle of all the commercial development, current and planned. They feature homes with excellent curb appeal and functional floorplans in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by farmland. The streets of Emory Farms have children playing and neighbors talking on their porches creating a great family friendly atmosphere. Despite being surrounded by farms, Emory Farms is less than a quarter mile from all the retail stores in Hutto. Hutto is an area full of pride for their city and it's evident at every store where there sits a Hutto Hippo statue.
In 2007, Hutto was found to be the fastest growing city in Texas based on growth rate from July 2000 to July 2006. The retail during this time has blossomed and continues to constantly grow. Emory Farms has excellent access to the shopping and dining at the intersection of highway 79 and 685, smack in the middle of it all. Here there is Lowe's, Walgreens, Home Depot, Goodwill, Anytime Fitness, and Autozone. Eateries in the area include Chili's, TGIFriday's, Rio Grande Tex Mex, Quizno's, Domino's Pizza, and several fast food establishments.
Emory Farms has a small park within the community with a playground and multi-use field. If this isn't enough, just down 79, less than 10 minutes away is the massive Old Settlers Park. Here you can watch Round Rock's own minor league baseball team, the Round Rock Express, play at the always fun Dell Diamond. The Dell Diamond is located at the south end of Old Settlers Park, which features 570 acres of scenic beauty. Old Settlers Park's list of features is downright insane. The park has an 18-hole frisbee golf course, five softball fields, seven soccer fields, cricket field, batting cages, fishing, two lighted football fields with goal posts, playgrounds, picnic areas, festival field, twelve lighted tennis courts, remote-controlled airplane landing strip, two sand volleyball courts, 3.3 miles of hike and bike trails, and twenty baseball fields! How is that for activities?
