Paloma Lake is a master-planned subdivision that is still in active development, but is already generating a good deal of buzz around the city. Just down the way is Round Rock Premium Outlets, providing 125 outlets in an outdoor mall located just off of University Blvd. and I35. Round Rock Premium Outlets feature such retail stores as Coach, Banana Republic, Polo Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, IZOD, and Burberry among many others. Across the street from the mall is the only IKEA in the Austin metro area, which is huge for the city of Round Rock. IKEA brings in shoppers from other cities generating a great deal of sales tax revenue for Round Rock. There are many other stores and restaurants surrounding Round Rock Premium Outlets and IKEA.
Old Settlers Park is just right around the corner, less than five minutes away from Paloma Lake! Old Settlers Park features 570 acres of scenic beauty with an amazing amount of amenities. You can job around the beautiful lake or make use of their baseball fields, soccer fields, football fields, frisbee golf course, batting cages, tennis courts, playgrounds, hike and bike trails, and more! At the south end of the park is Dell Diamond where you can watch Round Rock's own minor league baseball team, the Round Rock Express.
The Paloma Lake website advertises price from the "$160s to $400s," but Paloma Lake homes for sale in Round Rock range in price from $175,000 to $400,000. The average price in Paloma Lake is $240,000 and the median price is $230,000. The average size of homes is over 2,600 sqft. The homes in Paloma Lake were built starting around 2007. These numbers were taken from the MLS and do not include homes that were built to customer's specifications.
