Tarrytown is one of Austin's most desirable areas for its disconnect from the busyness of the city, but still positioned within close proximity to the downtown area. The community is absolutely beautiful to say the least. The broad range of housing styles and architecture and tall trees and gorgeous sprawling properties are just a few of the special features of Tarrytown. Bordered by Lake Austin on the west, Mopac to the east, 35th Street to the north, and Enfield Road to the south. Tarrytown homes for sale offer vintage, yet upscale living to many young families, urban professionals, and even some retirees. Tarrytown real estate is some of the most expensive in Central Austin and with its prime location, access to Lake Austin, and friendly community it's easy to see why. Many resident's of Tarrytown vow that they will never leave.
